Create a nice smooth finished edge where carpet meets your tile flooring with the exclusive z bar from trafficmaster. A special tool called a z bar enables you to install lengths of carpet in doorways so that they fit perfectly.

The z bar is used with tack strip with the tack strip installed directly on top of the z bar. Measuring 4 ft it matches up perfectly to a standard tack strip. Must be used with tack strip during carpet installation. Can be cut to desired length.

Apply gentle pressure as you hit the flat end of the kicker with your knee to push the carpet forward. Continue until your carpet is positioned over the bar and is stretched across the floor. A way to finish off carpet up to any surface. Place the spiked end of the kicker a few inches away from the bar on top of the carpet.

Stretch the carpet over the z bar with a knee kicker. The z bar is used in conjunction with the tack strip and should be installed directly over the z bar.
